Inspection Order Reviews and Resolutions
Inspection Order Reviews and Resolutions
Owners of buildings/facilities are occasionally served with an Order to complete measures/upgrades that would improve the fire and life safety of their building/facility. These orders originate from Authority Having Jurisdiction which includes building inspectors or fire prevention officers. The inspection orders can relate to several areas including structural repairs/alterations, removal of fire hazards, installation of equipment or devices to address hazardous material, and discontinuation of processes deemed to have a high risk. These orders must be complied with within an assigned date and can in some cases be difficult to achieve or expensive.
