I don’t believe there is anything better than getting together with family and friends over the holidays to eat, drink, and enjoy each others company. Along with the warmth that your family and friends bring to your home, comes the heat from holiday cooking, candles, and fireplaces. Being a firefighter for a lot of years, I have seen many a Christmas holiday be interrupted by an unfortunate fire incident. Over the next couple of weeks, I would like to share a few of these with you as cautionary tales, in the hope that by sharing these they will not be repeated.
